You are in control of your personal information. If you don’t want your confidential information to be used by The Data Hub for purposes beyond your own care (such as research), you can choose to opt-out.
There are two main types of opt-out:
This applies across England. It means your confidential patient information won’t be used for research.
You can set your choice on the NHS website or by calling 0300 303 5678.
If you prefer, you can opt out locally. To do this, contact The Data Hub directly using the Norfolk and Suffolk ICB’s contact details. A member of staff can explain what this means for your care and record your choice.
If you change your mind later, you can also opt back in.
