There is no single test for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or Long COVID.
A GP will look at your symptoms, how long they’ve lasted, and will aim to rule out other possible conditions first.
Diagnosis is based on your history and how your symptoms affect your daily life.
There is currently no cure for ME, CFS or Long COVID, but symptoms can be managed.
