Adult neurodevelopmental services in Norfolk and Suffolk carry out diagnostic assessments for conditions such as autism and ADHD. They can also direct individuals to mental health, social care and other forms of support while they wait.
Community support services can assist with practical day‑to‑day needs, education, and employment guidance as well as other wellbeing support.

Norfolk Autism Partnership provides a range of resources on where to get support and involvement opportunities.
ASD Helping Hands provides an autism information and advice service.
This training has been co-produced by members of the Norfolk Autism Partnership Board, including Autistic people, parents and carers, and professionals from a wide range of services.
It complies with the Autism Act (2010) and the Equality Act (2010), and explores key topics such as:
- Understanding autism as a lifelong spectrum condition
- Key characteristics and the differences commonly experienced by Autistic people
- Sensory differences and how they may affect daily life
Skylight Psychiatry are commissioned by NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board to provide adult autism diagnostic assessments.
All of these provides can provide ADHD assessments and can prescribe ADHD medication following a positive diagnosis, in addition to undertaking annual reviews for this medication:

Services and support groups in Suffolk
Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) offers diagnostic assessment for ADHD for those people who meet the criteria for the service, alongside initiating medication – where appropriate – following a diagnosis of ADHD made by the service.
The service offers medication assessment/review appointments for those people with an existing NHS diagnosis wishing to start or restart treatment, who are not under a Right to Choose provider.
Annual reviews of ADHD care and treatment for those people under our service, or those referred in from other NHS ADHD services, are also offered.
