Norfolk All Age Autism Strategy

This work brings together the Norfolk Autism Partnership Board and a group of autistic adults to co-produce the strategy and its yearly plans. People with lived experience have been directly involved in shaping, monitoring, and improving both the strategy and how it is delivered.

Thrive With…

Thrive With… is a psychoeducational programme designed for both prisoners and professionals, including NHS nurses. It aims to increase understanding of neurodiversity, challenge stigma, and improve confidence when working with neurodivergent people.
The session will share the development of the Neurodiversity Training Centre within the Criminal Justice System and explore the impact of the programme on trainee nurses, including how participation has enhanced their knowledge, confidence, and professional development, followed by Q&A and discussion.

Get Involved Innovations project, Voluntary Norfolk

This project focuses on creating more inclusive volunteering opportunities for people who experience health inequalities, including people with learning disabilities, autistic adults, and care-experienced young people.
The session will share how organisations have worked in partnership with communities to design and test new approaches, including using lived experience to shape accessible and flexible volunteering models, followed by Q&A and discussion.

ActivGardens supports people to build confidence, develop skills, and improve their wellbeing through practical activities like gardening, cooking, and conservation, within a supportive and inclusive community.
The session will share how people, including older people, young people, and those with additional needs, from different backgrounds are supported to take part at their own pace, and how a community-led approach helps people feel included, purposeful, and connected, followed by Q&A and discussion.
