EventsConflicts of interest
The ICB manages actual or potential conflicts of interest that arise on an ongoing basis. Our staff are asked to declare any personal, professional, or financial interests that could influence, or appear to influence, the decisions they make. These declarations are recorded via our Declaration of Interests Register.
This register helps us to:
- identify and manage conflicts of interest before they affect decision‑making
- maintain transparency and public trust by showing that decisions are fair and unbiased
- ensure accountability, as staff must keep their declarations up to date whenever their circumstances change.
The ICB also maintains a Hospitality and Gifts Register. This is where we record any offers of gifts or hospitality made to any member of staff whether they are accepted or not. The register will be updated with any new declarations made by ICB staff.
To learn more about how we manage gifts and hospitality and conflicts of interest, please refer to our Standards of Business Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies, which are published within our Governance Handbook.
View the N&S ICB Board Register of Interest.
