Our Constitution and Governance Handbook are key documents that provide information on how we’re run, our corporate documents, and our rules and procedures.
Our Constitution
NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board’s Constitution is a legal document setting out the arrangements made to make sure the group meets its responsibilities for the people of Norfolk and Suffolk.
The document describes the governing principles, rules and procedures that will be established to ensure integrity, honesty and accountability in the day to day running of the ICB. It also sets out to ensure that decisions are taken in an open and transparent way and that the interest of patients and public remain at the heart of the ICB.
Our Constitution will be uploaded here on 1 April 2026.
Governance Handbook
Our Governance Handbook supports our Constitution by bringing together a range of corporate documents into one place. Whilst it is not a legal requirement to have a Governance Handbook, it supports us to build a consistent corporate approach and brings relevant corporate documents together.
It is a requirement that the Governance Handbook is published on our website as it includes the Terms of Reference for the statutory committees of the ICB. The handbook will be kept updated and when any changes are made to the Terms of Reference within it, the revised version will be updated on this webpage.
The Governance Handbook will be uploaded on 1 April 2026.
